When I think of what makes a great infographic it usually needs to have two main components, visual and informational.
Visual
It needs to achieve the first goal of being attractive. Lots of colors and pictures will grab a readers attention and make the information you are displaying fun to read. But there cannot be so much going on that the reader will become overwhelmed.
Informational
The second goal is it needs to convey simplified information, almost bullet points on a subject that is interesting to its viewers. I should be able to follow an infograhpic and come away with a decent understanding about the subject that was being discussed.
Here are my 10 favorite infograhpics. It was hard to narrow it down to 10 so if I left off your favorites please comment and share your favorite!
